Meet Thalia

Gardener, photographer, and fruit tree collector. Currently building a tropical backyard homestead in sunny South Florida, one seed at a time. I grow food, beauty, chaos, exotic fruits and herbal goodies for my friends & family (and the pollinators too!)
I recently opened The Garden Gnomestead etsy shop to share some of our favorite Florida garden seeds, as well as some tropical and exotic finds!
I save the seeds, I take the photos, I write the garden notes and share what I learned along the way.

Meet Gnorman

If you ever wondered who was the real boss around here, the quality control manager and the highly opinionated product manager, then please say hello to Gnorman The Gnome - our resident mascot.
He hates to admit it, but we got him from a clearance bin at a big box store many moons ago and he has been ruling over our lives ever since. He is the inspiration behind our homestead name, logo and really everything in between. Hes a bit mean in the mornings, but he keeps this place running (and honestly someone has to do it).
